Dear Transit Partners:
Thank-You, Thank-You, Thank-You for a SUCCESSFUL Transit Conference on May 28 – 30, 2008!! We are certainly on the “Route to Success.” I appreciate all of you taking the time to attend the conference (over 300 participants) and am grateful for the wonderful feedback received from many of you. I look forward to building on this experience and continuing our face-to-face interaction on a recurring basis.
So, I’m sure everyone is asking… When is the next conference? And, Where will the next conference be held? FTA Region IV will be soliciting your feedback on the frequency of the conference in the near future. I’ve informally heard annually, bi-annually, and even every 3 to 4 years. Our partners in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico graciously volunteered at the Atlanta conference to host the next one in their location. WOW! Wouldn’t that be exciting? Again, FTA will solicit your input and try to accommodate what works best for the majority of our partners. More to come…
